Public Access Online Services

This site allows you to search for a Criminal Case Number by defendant name in the Los Angeles Superior Court via our secure web server.

This search returns a list of case number, defendant name, filing date, and filing locations of cases that match the defendant name you submit. To view additional information about a case, please visit our Criminal Case Summary Online Service. This site is updated daily.

The search results do not include information for litigants with traffic or other infractions. To find information on a traffic or other infraction, please visit the Traffic Division Page.

Each search incurs a public access fee to reimburse the Court for the costs of providing public access to its electronic records in accordance with California Rule of Court 2.506 and Government Code Section 68150(l). The fee you are charged will depend if you sign in as a registered user or as a guest user.

Registered users are charged on a sliding scale. The system will maintain a running count of the number of name searches you have submitted for the current month. The counter will be reset at the beginning of each month.

Guest users are charged a flat rate per name search.
